Every once in a while a truly pressing documentary comes along. You Don’t Like the Truth : 4 Days Inside Guantánamo is such an account.

Based on security footage from Omar Khadr’s much-in-the-news detainment at Guantánamo Bay, this film raises profound questions about the values upheld by our democracy.

The Cinéma Parallèle is proud to present Patricio Henríquez and Luc Côté’s latest feature and understand that, following the film, you may have the urge (read need) to discuss it with someone in the know. As such, we have invited several people who worked on the film to be present at the screenings in order to answer your questions.
